Weston has been building web applications since before most of us knew how to use the internet. In the time since, some career highlights include having a site on the NCSA’s What’s New page in March 1995; webcasting live for Microsoft from Burning Man in 1997; building a streaming video kiosk in Amsterdam helping clubbers chose their venue; co-creating CBC’s late-night cross-platform variety show ZeD (personally garnering two Gemini nominations, a Science and Technology Emmy nomination; a Webby nomination; and winning the CBC MICAM award); introducing the Firefox identity management add-on Sxipper at the Internet Identity Workshop in 2006; building Medeo, a WebRTC based telemedicine solution for BC doctors in 2013; and leading the team at Netsign.

Weston is a certified Pragmatic Marketing Product Manager. When not at a computer, Weston enjoys cycling, snowboarding, and hanging out with his kids.
