Guillaume Hammadi

Guillaume Hammadi

Senior Full-stack Developer

Originally a mechanical engineer, Guillaume quickly figured out that computers were at least as fun as giant telescopes. Guillaume has 17 years of experience in software engineering from roles he’s held around the world in France, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. His tenacity when chasing elusive bugs is only matched by how clearly he can explain the ins and outs of a system to non-technical stakeholders. A seasoned remote worker, he has delivered successful projects from America, Oceania and Europe with teams all over the time zones. Guillaume has worked from more than 20 countries over the last 10 years, notably China, Brazil, Austria and the USA. Career highlights include designing and delivering an end-to-end IoT remote control infrastructure for saunas, rewriting lifecycle analysis software for Bureau Veritas and building a novel, map-based artwork search solution for the National Library of New Zealand. When Guillaume is not typing away on a keyboard, he can be found on a mountain bike, with a kite attached to his waist, or a snowboard under his feet.
